The Selective Service System has been advised past the General Accounting Office that the failure of draft registrants to notify the service of address changes would seriously impede whatever futurity conscription.

The report, issued Thursday by the Congressional investigative agency, said that Selective Service ''mostly agreed'' with the findings and conclusions. But a Selective Service spokesman said his agency would accept the funds in the fiscal year that began Friday to verify the addresses of the 20-twelvemonth-olds who would exist in the principal draft grouping.

The Defense Section has asked Selective Service, if the typhoon should be renewed, to deliver the first draftees to training bases within 13 days of mobilization and 100,000 men within xxx days. At the end of six months, 650,000 draftees are to take been inducted.
